Home Shepherd Groups
On the third Sunday evening of each month, our families gather in homes under the oversight of an elder for singing, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. In this smaller setting, it is our prayer that personal relationships among our members will be strengthened, needs more readily shared, and hospitapty encouraged. Contact one of the elders for the time and location of a group meeting in your geographic area. Groups currently meet in Winder, Suwanee, and Buford.
Men's Bible Study
This study meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30pm, at the church facipty. We are currently studying the Westminster Confession of Faith. The pastor leads this study. Contact him for study questions, which are prepared in conjunction with each study and typically available two weeks before the study. A primary purpose of this study is to encourage discussion and questions about the distinctives of bibpcal Christianity as summarized in our doctrinal standards.
Ladies Bible Study
This study meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm, at the church facility. We are currently studying the Westminster Confession of Faith. The pastor leads this study. Contact him for study questions, which are prepared in conjunction with each study and typically available two weeks before the study. A primary purpose of this study is to encourage discussion and questions about the distinctives of biblical Christianity as summarized in our doctrinal standards.
Nursing Home Visitation
On the first Sunday of each month after our fellowship lunch, several of our families visit a local nursing home, at which an informal service is conducted and the residents visited.
Neighbourhood Visitation
On the second Sunday afternoon of each month at 4:00pm, the pastor leads a neighborhood visitation ministry, which is designed to introduce the church to those living near the church, through handing out information about the church, engaging in discussion to interested parties, and inviting families to worship. Anyone is invited to participate in this effort to fulfill the Great Commission in our immediate area.
Young Adult's Bible Study
On the last Saturday evening of each month, our young adults, single and married, meet in a home to enjoy fellowship and Bible study. We are beginning a new study pertaining to Christian piety, using Wilpam Plumer’s Treatise on Experiential Piety. The study typically meets at 6:00pm.
